Dr. Sarah Greenway is a native of northern Virginia. She grew up in the suburbs of Washington, DC before moving to Blacksburg to attend Virginia Tech as an Animal and Poultry Sciences major. She obtained her DVM from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she ran the feline arm of a local animal rescue, assisted with diversity and outreach efforts at the vet school, and somehow never got to see a tornado despite 4 years of living in Kansas. Dr. Greenway’s medical interests include feline medicine especially neonatal kitten care, shelter medicine, and companion animal nutrition and behavior. She will also see large animals and some exotics! She has two cats – she raised Perry from an orphaned bottle baby, and Venus came as a stray from animal control with a broken hip – and a crested gecko named Burruss. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, indoor plants, photography, Netflix, video games, crochet, raising orphaned kittens, and watching Virginia Tech football.
